About the Kettering Vintage Rally & Steam Fayre
Perched on the south side of the corridor of the A14 east of Kettering, Northamptonshire is the grassy site which is home to the Kettering Vintage Rally and Steam Fayre.
This annual show celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2019 and continues to go from strength to strength.
The weekend event provides a host of vintage vehicles and historic engines that continue to amaze and entertain visitors each year. Usually on display are full-size and miniature steam engines, stationary engines, fair organs, vintage and classic cars, commercial vehicles, motorcycles, and cycles. The event also provides autojumble and trade stalls along with a fantastic array of food and hot and cold drinks.
The rally and steam fair was established in 1999 by rally organiser Michael Spitteler. Michael’s passion for steam preservation has been the driving force for many years of this wonderful, inspirational weekend of our great transport heritage. Each year the show continues to raise money and support local charities.
