Stretham Old Engine
Built in 1831, the engine house contains a traditional beam engine which used to operate a wooden scoop wheel forming part of the Waterbeach Level internal drainage system. Superseded by a diesel pump, it last worked in 1941. The building contains a steam powered double-acting rotative beam engine, and is the last surviving complete example of its kind in the Fens.
